Explore WordPress Website DesignThese seven services solve the same problem in different ways: you need a website that brings in work. What separates them is the shape of the job, not the quality of the result. A templated build is not a worse website, it is a smaller one with fewer decisions in it.
Most people arrive here knowing roughly what they want and unsure what it is called. The table below is the shortest honest answer we can give without knowing your business.
| If you need | Start with | From |
|---|---|---|
| A handful of pages, a phone number, and to be found locally | Small business web design | £200 +VAT £240 inc VAT |
| To sell products online | eCommerce or Shopify | £900 +VAT £1,080 inc VAT |
| A site you can edit yourself, with room to grow | WordPress | £500 +VAT £600 inc VAT |
| One page built to convert paid traffic | Landing page design | £200 +VAT £240 inc VAT |
| An existing site that has stopped bringing in work | Website redesign | £500 +VAT £600 inc VAT |
| Something genuinely one off | Bespoke web design | £900 +VAT £1,080 inc VAT |
Page count matters less than people expect. What moves a quote is functionality: taking payments, connecting to another system, building a booking flow, or migrating content from an old site. Design time is the second factor, and that one is yours to control by deciding how much has to be bespoke rather than adapted.
We quote a fixed price before any work starts, so the number you agree is the number you pay. If something is going to push the cost up, you hear about it at the quote stage rather than the invoice stage. Full figures for each build type are on the pricing page.
Yes, and most clients do. A templated site built on WordPress can be extended into a larger one without starting again, which is the main reason we build on it. The exception is moving a shop between platforms, where product data and URLs both have to be carried across carefully so you do not lose the rankings you already have.
None of those are upsells. A site missing any of them is not finished, whatever it cost. Google sets out its own baseline for what a site has to do to be found in Search Essentials, and everything we build is checked against it before launch.
Every build includes a handover session and thirty days of support, because the first month is when you find the things nobody thought to mention. After that you can look after the site yourself or put it on a care plan. We do not require one, and we will tell you if you do not need it.
Start with a discovery call rather than guessing. Twenty minutes is usually enough for us to tell you which of the seven fits, and occasionally that none of them do and you need something simpler than you thought.
Only up to a point. Page count affects build time, but functionality affects it far more. A five page site that takes online bookings costs more than a fifteen page brochure site.
Yes. A templated WordPress build can grow into a larger site without a rebuild. That is deliberate, and it is why we avoid platforms you cannot take with you.
You do. You get the files, the hosting account and the logins. There is no lock in and no monthly fee required to keep the site online.
